2030, November 1st 70 degrees F


There was many people lining at New York's biggest airport AMC. Dante, a young man about 25 years old checks in with Alaskin Airlines. "How long will be my flight? Dante asks the desk caretaker. The lady answered, "In one more hour!"

2030 November 1st 54 degrees F


Adrian, a 23 year old, sat on a bench next to her terminal to Juneau, Alaska. She flew her nail filer over her nails and held them out to examine them. She brushed her beautiful brown hair over her shoulder and blew her fingernails clean. Sighing, she stared at her Rolex watch. It read 8:36 a.m. One more hour until her flight boarded. Adrian's stomach growled begging for some food. Grabbing her purse, she strode down the terminals reading the food stand names. Finally, she decided to go with something simple. Starbucks.

Dante felt a loud noise. Then the floor started to shake, The lights of the aiiport turned off and it was pitch black. Then a dark shodow, big object came from one of the terminal's windows then Dante noticed what it was. The object was an airplane coming towards the glass. Smoke scattered and everyone was screaming for their life. Dante tried to find shelter, but the floor he was on fell a story down, before he knew it he was on ground floor with all the debri on him.

As Adrian waited in line for a coffee. She looked up at the TV. It was on fox news and it had a breaking news about a sudden plane crash in New York City at the AMC airport. It showed a large Valkire 553 with it's head stuck against the building. Part of the second floor had caved in. The cameraman zoomed into the wreckage and showed a man buried beneath the debri. In the background you could her the newsreporter calling 911 to the scene where the man was laying helplessly. Adrian sighed sympathetically and was happy that it didn't happen to her.

Dante woke up. He tryed to get up but he couldn't! One of the large pieces of shattered glass was cut in his leg. He Yelled but nobody answered. 10 minuets passed and nothing happened. Then Dante heard a firemen calling "Anyone hear!" Dante yelled and the firemen found him and was rushed to the ambulence. He was sent in a hellocopter and sent to Chicago Civic Medical Center. While Dante was in the bed and watched the news. Dante was shocked. The plane that hit the airport in New York wasn't actually a plane, it was a bomb. The news said"Half Of New York has been attacked by this weapons. The president thinks this was an atterist attack."

Soon after the newsreporter called the man was carried away in a large helicopter. It flew offscreen and the picture faded back to the anchor man. Adrian stepped up to the next avaiable cash register and told them what she wanted. As soon as she got her drink she situated herself in the corner of the shop and analzsed her notes. She was going to Juneau, Alaska for a special expedition to find out more about Global Warming. Lately, strange weather patterns have been occuring. Storms in the Saehara and a drought in Washington.


Kovu stepped out of his snow covered den that was safely hidden from human eyes. Everything about him was hidden. He was pure white and blended perfectly with the snow. Raising his snout to the sky he sniffed the air for any sign of weather change. The scent brought a storm a large one. Lowering his muzzle he looked around his surroundings for any scent of a stray deer.

Dante was soon healed and was ready to bord his flight to Alaska to see the affects of globel warming. When he entered the airport he hd to arrive preety early beacuse of his broken leg. Dante was to be very cautous when he entered the plane. The pilot greated us as we sat down to our seats, "Wlcome to Alaskan Airlines! The flight will be about six hours. Please enjoy your flight!"


Two Hours in flight

The turbialence started to kick in.

Dante was starting to get worried. Piolet talked through the speaker, "Sorry we are having a lttle bump here. Relax and enjoy the ride!" Now, bags from there compartments started to fall. Dante new something not good was happening.

Ririuki a small fox lay by is mom in the frozen tundra, all the animals in Alaska are preparing for the snow storm for winter but Ririuki knows its not going to happen.

Adrian was so caught up in her notes she hadn't realized that the plane had started to board until it annouced for the final boarding. Grabbing her drink, she dashed out of the coffee shop and took her seat in 1st class. The pilot greeted them with a friendly 'hello' and reviewed the basics of flight safety with an attendent up front to show you what to do. As the attendent walked by Adrian she pulled her aside and asked for how long the flight would be. The attendent replied that the flight would be a solid 4 and a half hour flight. Adrian shrunk into her seat and rubbed her temples not knowing that it was such a long flight. She grabbed her kindle out of her carry-on and switched onto the novel she was currently reading: Roses and Chocolate by Frank R. Wren She kicked her shoes off and laid the recliner back for a refreshing read.

Landing Juneau,Alaska 10 degrees F

Dante was relieved that the plane landed safely. The wind was 50 miles strong. The cold air made Dante put his jaket back on. He knew his mission was ready to proceed but first he needed a hotel. Dante went to the deskmanager to ask for a room. "Sorry, all our rooms are taken," she answers. Dante asks, "any other hotels?" "No, sorry sir." "Thank you anyway" Dante left the warm hotel and was stuck in the frozen wind. He knew what he is going to do next. Get a warm drink. Hot choclate would do.

As Adrian's plane touched down for landing she walked down the freezing aisle for the hotel worker who was supposed to take her to her hotel. She spotted her a little whiles away and briskly walked toward her.
"You must be Adrian Lee" The lady smiled.
Adrian nodded and the lady escorted her to the black mercedes parked up front. Inside, the driver handed Adrian a hot glass of hot chocolate. Adrian blew at it until it was the right tempature. As her car pulled up toward the hotel building she stepped out and made her way toward the concierge desk. Several heads turned mostly men her age as she made her entrance.
"Adrian Lee," She said to the man at the table.
"Yes, ma'am" He smiled tipping his hat. The concierge blew a silent whistle that hung around his neck. A luggage cart came over but instead of wheels it hovered. The concierge loaded her luggage onto the vechcal and told her to get on. She sat down on the cart and crossed her legs. Instantly, the cart rose up and paraded toward the clear doors of the elevator. THe concierge pressed the 18th floor or "The Penthouse" and off she went. Quickly, the floors passed by like rockets and she was finally at the top. The concierge opened the door to her room and she smiled at what she saw.






"It's perfect!" She sighed in contemptment.

Dante saw a girl with brown hair, about 23 years old walking into a hotel. Dante wantted to see if any rooms were vacent there. As Dante entered there was a man who had a mask on and had a Y2KX gun. The gun can blow up an entire building and leave smoke so nobody could see what was happening. All of a sudden helicopters from the sky came with a man with dark eyes and a dark vest saying, "Everyone this is not a drill, please get here out as soon as possible, this is a robbery, I reapet this is not a drill." As soon as he appeared we knew that we were safe, but then smoke came from the gun and nobody could see anything, all we saw is fire from the sky and we knew what the robber had done. He shot the helocopter making it crash into a small house. Everyone started to run. The man with the mask screamed," Everyone who doesn't give me your money! I'm going to blow up that hotel right in front of us. Dante he knew he needed to save everyone from that hotel, but one problem he can't walk. As soon as he entered the lobby of the hotel it was empty. Same with the next 5 floors. Dante thought maybe the people from the penthouses couldn't hear the robbery or see the robbery so maybe they are still there. Dante rushed to the last floor, but before he entered the elivator he saw a little girl crying.

Adrian was chewing on some grapes when she heard the building shudder. Above the hotel she could make out the beat of the helipcopter's spinner. She looked down toward the icy ground and saw that most of the hotel's patronages were outside. Smoke rose from the 5th floor and then she realized that something was going on. She grabbed all that she could carry and headed out the door. Just like all evacuations the elevator was jammed and she had to use the stairs.

The little girl didn't want to come she just stayed there waiting for her mother. Dante hurried to the stair going downstairs because the little girl says she is afraid of elivators. As the little girl and Dante went down stairs, Dante asked," What is your name?" The little girl answered scarcely," Mmmy naaaamme is Emma." Dante was now on the forth floor and saw the laddy that entered the hotel. Dante asked her," You look familier. have we met?"

As Adrian rounded the corner she saw a man and a girl. The man asked her if they had ever met before. THen Adrian remebered that she saw him on TV.
"Oh, no but I saw you on Fox after that attack in New York. Do you know what's happening here?"

"Yes, there is a man with a gun outside threating to blow up this hotel, we better get out!" Dante rushed downstairs with the lady and took the little girl with him. On ground level Dante asked," WHat is your name?" But then Dante heard a loud explosion, and it was the top floor falling down. The building was colapsing!

"Gotta run!" She yelled at the man and ran out the door. Outside, a snowstorm was starting and she battled against the biter cold and watched the beloved Canyon Hotel burn to pieces.

The man with the gun disapperad, and all was left was fire and ash falling from the sky. Dante caught up to the lady asked, "what is your name?" Emma ran from Dante to her mother and whispered," Thank you." to Dante

"Uh, Adrian Lee," She said applaying eyeliner to her face.
"What's yours?"

"uh, my name is Dante Wilison, what brings you to Alaska?" "I'm hear for a globel warming mission."

"Well, so am I," Adrian said closing her handheld mirror. She turned toward Dante. Looks like we're on the same page then,"

Well, I am soppose to meet someone from France to help for the expedition. Well, I still I have my clothing, we shoud gear up and climb those mountions and check how fast the ice is melting.! Wait are you from Montana becuase the leader of the expedition told me to meet a lady from Montana?"
